    Toyota Supra MKIV

    In July 1993, the fourth and so far last generation of the Supra came on the market. Internationally, this type is called " Supra MKIV ".

    Toyota Supra MKIII

    In early 1986, the third generation of the Supra was introduced. It is also the first that has not been marketed with the suffix Celica.

    Celica Supra (MK2)

    The second generation was presented in the fall of 1981 and had a completely independent drive with the new (170 hp) 6-cylinder engines.

    2000GT & Supra MK1

    The first Supra built from spring 1978 to summer 1981 was still offered as a top version of the Celica first in Japan and later in the United States.

    Servus an alle,

    ich habe heute mitbekommen, dass es in einem Lexus GS auch den 2JZ-GTE Motor gab. Auch mit TwinTurbo. Diesen Wagen gibt es wohl auch mit 6-Gang Getriebe, jedoch kein V161 oder V160.

    Hat jemand vielleicht ne Ahnung welches Getriebe in der Kiste verbaut wurde? Bzw. welche 6-Gang Getriebe es beim 2JZ-GTE noch gab?

    Gab keinen Lexus GS mit 2JZ-GTE, nur mit 2JZ-GE...

    Ich schätze mal du meinst einen Toyota Aristo (gleiche Karosse wie Lexus GS)....den gab es aber meines Wissens nach nur als Automatik.

    Nicht nur die Karosse ist gleich, das ganze Auto ist gleich. Im Export wurde der Aristo nunmal als Lexus GS verkauft. Den 2JZ-GTE gabs aber nur auf dem japanischen Markt, also nur mit "Toyota Aristo"-Label. Den Wagen gabs tatsächlich nur mit Automatik, ein Schaltgetriebe war nicht erhältlich.

    Ja Ja ....das meinte ich schon. Wollte es aber nur kurz und bündig ausdrücken :grinning: :stuck_out_tongue:

    Ah genau, war der Aristo mit dem 2JZ. Schade, dachte den gibt es auch als 6Spd.

    Es gab keine anderen 6-Gang Getriebe als V160/V161 bei Fahrzeugen mit 2JZ (egal ob Sauger oder Turbo).
    Die Schaltgetriebe die bei Lexus mit 2JZGE verbaut wurden hatten 5 Gänge (Code W55 im IS300 und W58 im SC300).

    In einem US-Forum beschäftigt man sich schon länger damit, ob und wie man ein Aisin AY6 (6-Gang Schaltgetriebe, u.a. verbaut in Cadillac CTS, '10 Camaro,..) an den 2JZ anflanschen kann, allerdings ist es darum mittlerweile schon ruhiger geworden. Also noch keine brauchbare Alternative für dich... :blush:
