That I am a terrorist :grinning:

They stopped me for the rear tires, they think 285 is way too much....
And I only had the homologation papers for the wheels and the coilovers, it wasn't written on the car permit, then they saw the exhaust...too funny the face they did and I told them it was the original one :rotwerd: and they just said NO WAY...

First thing I made the next day was taking an appointement at the inspection and showing the appointement paper to the cops (because they gave me 5 days) then exactly the same cops stopped me again just to show me the original exhaust drawing paper.....

They just have nothing else to do than searching a bloody diagram and waiting to stop me again.......they told me that they told all Montreux-Vevey cops to have an eye on me.....I am so scared :grinning:

    hihi

I think I need to make a little trip to you and help you scare them away. :grinning:
I'm always in Payerne when I have military duties

They had a diagram of the original exhaust? :flushed:
Damn, they have too much spare time.

I once ran into an bunch of the blue-ones but they just wondred what kind of car this could be and that the car probably runs on a V8 (guess because of the deep sound the NurSpec makes). So I decided to leave them with that and drove away as quiet as possible.

Cops in Wald are just psychos....maybe I should move to Swiss german or germany :grinning:

Once I have the money I will try to homologate that thing, I really think it can be done for sure with the silencer...I think I only have to pass the sound test < 90db and the emission test as well wich must be ok as the Nur Spec R doesn't remove the cats

    Feuerstuhl Driver
To pass exhaust test you have to be <=75 db :schlecht:

Yeah definitly :grinning: if I am trying to get it homologate I will put the silencer in it + glass wool just for the inspection :rotwerd:

Did somebody from swiss-germany try to get it homologate or never?

And how it is for our german friends, no problem with the cops or same shit as switzerland?

BTW thanks for the replies

I tried the homologation with the Tanabe Super Hyper Exhaust system 81 db. You would need to completely reengineer the entire exhaust system at the end.

I heard that the tanabe is louder than the nur spec,no? (even if the Krieger is hat 93db must be with single turbo no?)

What do you mean by reengineering.... just for sound purpose (i.e.: add glass woll in it?)

    Thanks

btw: did you pass the homologation with the tanabe?

    hey supraman,

don't come to germany with your car! in some citys like mannheim or heidelberg if the police throw an eye on you they never leave you alone. a friends of my got an CLK 230 with 19" full chrome rims without papers and anything...they followed 25km and then they stopped us..he got immediately "points" and lots of money to pay... thats one of the bad pages in germany the police and the TÜV..maybe you never get stopped by the police or maybe every day
