Im Juli 1993 kam die vierte und bisher letzte Generation des Supra auf den Markt (Modellcode JZA80), die bis August 2002 gebaut wurde.

Anfang 1986 wurde die dritte Generation des Supra vorgestellt. Sie ist zugleich die erste, die nicht mehr mit dem Namenszusatz Celica vermarktet wurde.

Die zweite Generation wurde im Herbst 1981 präsentiert. Auch sie war immer noch als Derivat des Celica Liftback erkennbar, hatte aber mit den neuen (170 PS) starken 6-Zylinder-Motoren einen komplett eigenständigen Antrieb.

Der aus dem James Bond Film bekannter 2000 GT wird von der Supra Community aufgrund des Reihen 6-er und der Coupe Form als der UR-Supra gesehen.

I found rust under the rear spoiler and the paint teared off like paper :pensive:
Better to repair it quickly :grinning:
Could be the weak point of this car :wink:

Mine was perfect, when I took the spoiler off.........

Same here, absolutely no signs of rust. The paint was brighter than where the spoiler didn't sit, but that's all.
But something's wrong with the holes in the hood.... there should be three, two for the screws and one for a plastic bolt on each side.
I think someone mounted the spoiler to a hood that didn't came with a spoiler from factory and did a bad mounting job...

I attached a picture of my hood a few days before, you can see which holes i'm talking about.

Hmm... that's true.
I have only 2 holes per side. It must have been installed after, and not very well.
I was already scared that toyota made a mistake :grinning:
